Briyo Car Care: a car wash demo

Briyo is a fictional car wash in Kralendijk that we made up to show what a car wash website can do. Watch the bays, join the line, build a wash and follow your car through the owner view.

The brief

We imagined a hand wash and detailing shop on the road to the airport, with three bays. Its customers are people who live on the island, dive trucks covered in salt, and visitors who need to hand back a rental without sand in the carpet.

The site had to answer the first question everyone has, how long is the wait, and turn that into bookings. It also had to sell the extras: return-day washes, monthly plans and fleet washing.

What we built

Near the top, a live board shows the three bays: which one is free and what stage each car is in, from foam and rinse to drying and the inside. Next to it, customers can join the line from their phone. They get a number, see how many cars are ahead and roughly how long it takes, and the site tells them when to drive into which bay.

The wash builder lets customers pick their vehicle, a wash and extras. The price and the time update with every choice. A separate section is made for rental returns, and another for monthly plans and fleet washing for rental and tour companies.

A before-and-after slider shows the difference a wash makes. Drag it across to wash the car clean.

How the booking and owner view work

Booking takes five steps: your wash, a day, a time, your details and a final check. Each time slot shows how many bays are free. Customers add their car and a WhatsApp number, confirm, and get a booking code.

In the owner view, the day runs as a board with four columns: booked, in the bay, drying and ready for pickup. Staff move each car along with one tap. When a car is ready, another tap sends the customer a WhatsApp. Other tabs show the bay schedule and the week's numbers.

A WhatsApp button and a scripted chat assistant handle quick questions about prices, waiting times and rentals. On a real site, the assistant can be AI-powered and answer day and night.

Design choices

Car washes are loud and bright, so the design is too. Condensed sports-style headlines, hot pink, cyan and lemon on clean white, and big, bold numbers for waiting times and prices.

At the top of the page hangs a row of wash curtain strips that sway when you scroll, as if you are driving through. Small drip and foam animations bring the bays to life. For visitors with reduced motion turned on, the movement stops.

What this means for a real car wash or rental

A real shop would connect the board and the line to its actual bays, with real WhatsApp messages going out. The same ideas work for detailers, and the booking side works for car and scooter rentals that need customers to pick a vehicle and a time.

Questions
Is Briyo Car Care a real car wash?

No. Briyo Car Care is a fictional business. We built this demo to show what a website for a car wash can do. The prices, reviews and bookings on it are examples, and bookings you make stay in your own browser.

Can the live board work with my real bays?

Yes. On a real site, the board follows what your staff mark in the owner view, so customers see the actual state of your bays.

What would a site like this cost?

Websites start at $500 to build, plus $50 a month. The monthly fee covers hosting, security and updates: when your specials, prices or opening hours change, you send a message and it's live. Every business needs something different, so after a short call we send you an offer tailored to what you need.
